Leslie May Pili Products is founded by Melinda Yee. She is an agriculturist who once served at the Department of Agriculture in Sorsogon City, Philippines
When I started this journey, I set out to find suppliers who reflect the very soul of Magayon Goodies. Itโs fair to say that itโs mission accomplished because I found Leslie May Pili Products ๐
Melinda Yee and her team creates with so much care for both their community and its biodiversity. Hereโs how:
๐๐ฝ They ensure that farmers are paid fairly and trains them to boost harvests.
๐๐ฝ Partner with local communities to balance economic growth and environmental conservation.
๐๐ฝ Champions sustainability, making sure every part of the pili fruit is put to good use. Nothing wasted, everything treasured.

SJ Handicrafts is another supplier I found who reflect the heart of Magayon Goodies. Itโs an enterprise that empowers the community (especially women), preserves weaving traditions, and creates second chances.
Hereโs how they weave impact into every creation:
๐๐ฝ They started LEHA (Layon Empowered Housewives Association) and partnered with DTI Albayโs Handmade for Hope programs to train women to become skilled weavers, giving them the opportunity to build sustainable livelihoods and thrive.
๐๐ฝThey champion inclusivity by extending weaving opportunities to persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in Guinobatan and Ligao City jails, proving that artistry and creativity can flourish anywhere.
